On Saturday 13th October the Village Hall was filled with the smell of mulled cider and chilli con carne. Over seventy locals gathered for a delicious Harvest Supper, a raffle and a Quiz with glorious harp music played by Christina Humbertson.
With proceeds from the Raffle at the Harvest Supper and the church collection at the Harvest Festival, the village will raised over £700 as a donation to Nourish our local food bank. In addition a large box full of vital food and essentials for those in need went to the same cause.
Thank you to all who helped, all who came and all who donated.
Here are a selection of photos from the evening plus some from the decorations in the church for the Harvest Festival the following day.
