The Service of Lamentation and Hope - to listen and reflect together; so that the church will be seen to be leading the world by example, in deed and action over this war against injustice and oppression for the people of colour.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Revd Justin Welby has graciously accepted to give a 3 mins pre-recorded message.Bishop Rose Hudson-Wilkin will preach and Bishop Karowei Dorgu will say the final prayer.

It is hoped that the Service of Lamentation and Hope will enable such an environment that will offer both the Global Majority Community Clergy and the Leadership of our church the space and opportunity in the context of a Service, to listen and reflect together; seek the face of God for boldness and courage that, the church will be seen to be leading the world by example, in deed and action over this war against injustice and oppression for the people of colour.

We look forward to seeing you (virtually) on the 28th of June.

Ven. Amatu Onundu Christian-Iwuagwu [CEng, MIET, CMgr, MCMI, PhD]

Vicar of St Mary's Harmondsworth and Anglican Igbo Church London Area Director of Ordinands (ADO)
